27th Anniversary Daniel R. Sayre Memorial Foundation Awards Dinner
Saturday, August 31, 2024
Welcome to the 27th Anniversary Awards Dinner and Fundraiser for the Hawaii Fire Department. Every day our first responders are coming to the assistance of our community and the guests who visit our Island. We count on them for their life-saving missions! The equipment and supplies that they need to do their jobs safely and efficiently are not always readily available due to the constraints of the Hawaii County budget and that is where The Daniel R. Sayre Memorial Foundation steps in.  With the assistance of our community, the Foundation is making significant strides in providing essential life-saving equipment for our Hawaii Fire Department personnel such as water safety craft, rescue boards, PA systems, ATV's and uniforms for our Ocean Safety Division to helicopters, fire trucks, rescue boats, AED's, ropes rescue equipment, Holmatro jaws of life, and fire fighting supplies for our fire and rescue teams.  It takes a team to make this all happen and we are so grateful to each and every one of you for this outstanding support for our first responders. Thank you in advance for attending this meaningful event where we honor our personnel for Meritorious Service Above and Beyond the Call of Duty.  We have some AMAZING news to share with you that evening and we look forward to having you share in the fun of Laura's Game when you donate $25.00 that evening to the Foundation for the Hawaii Fire Department. Be prepared to have the best time at the silent auction, dinner, live auction and the dance with Vizion 20/20.  The event starts at 4:30 PM, dinner is promptly at 6 PM and the dancing starts around 9 PM and goes until 11PM.  It is going to be one of the premier events of the year so you will not want to miss this. Feel free to dress up and wear your bling or come in aloha attire. The Ballroom can get cool so bring a shrug or sweater for your comfort.
